WORSHIP
“The trumpeters and singers joined together to praise and thank the Lord with one voice. They raised their voices, accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and musical instruments, in praise to the Lord: For He is good; His faithful love endures forever. The temple of the Lord's temple was filled with a cloud. And because of the cloud, the priests were not able to continue ministering, for the glory of the Lord filled God's temple." II Chronicles 5:13-14
Through the guidance of the Pastor, Worship Pastor, Praise Team and Choir it is Calvary's desire to create a God-centered, exciting, and most importantly, a real worship environment. The corporate worship at Calvary is to thank the Lord for His saving grace, mercy and blessings. Scripture tells us over and over to "give thanks to the Lord, for He is good," and this is what we strive to do!
CHOIR
"Let the message about the Messiah dwell richly among you, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, and singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."
The worship choir is made up of teens and adults who enjoy singing. Anyone at least 13 years old can join the choir.
No audition is required and the ability to read music is not necessary but helpful.
The choir helps lead in Sunday morning worship as well as the annual Christmas program in December, Resurrection Praise Service at Easter and the Patriotic Celebration service in the summer. We are a small group that loves, prays, supports and fellowships together.
Practices are on Sunday afternoons from 4:45pm – 5:30pm in the choir room.

as well as 3 - 4 vocalists.
